Even though tuxedos are considered the epitome of masculine dress, personally I think women look so glamorous and chic in them. The pictures above are elegant, timeless, and classic.
I think every woman needs a tuxedo blouse in her closet because it looks sexy without trying too hard. Here in LA I have seen it casually layered over jeans with stilettos and I have seen it dressed up on the red carpet.
I thought it would be fun to kick off the holiday party season with some examples of tuxedo dressing. The title of each item is also the link!

So do any of you ladies like to dress up masculine? Wear a tie? Maybe some oxford shoes? Let me know in the comments.

I love the ruffly shirt from Jcrew but I'm a little too girly to try the look!
Gorgeous necklace!
Do you have links to these things? Thanks!

Love it!
I have a friend who just abhores dresses, and most days she works in a laboratory. When we do go to dressy events, she dons the female tux, Marlene Dietrich look. I find it elegant and fab. =)

I love the masculine/feminine look but don't like to do it myself (except for wearing trousers occasionally) because I just like pretty, girlie clothes. Although, I may be going to a GenderF**k Ball at the end of the month...Not sure what to wear, though, as it'll be too hot to tux up!
