7 Amazing Recipes

It's been a while since I have posted anything about cooking, which is weird because I have been cooking up a storm! Its just those posts take a lot of time to produce, and it throws the rhythm of my cooking off because I have to keep stopping to take a picture. But I have found some really incredible recipes, and I don't want you dolls to miss out. So here are the links to my top 7 recipes of the past few months:

I love salads and I am always on the lookout for the new and unusual. I thought this one sounded good because of the pomegranate juice in the dressing, and I wasn't disappointed. I omitted the quinoa because I already had a quinoa dish and that meal and it was still delish.

These were no joke. I made them a few weeks ago for a dinner party and everyone raved! They were easy to make, tasted out of control, and the best part was the adorable way of presenting it in a small mason jar. These also make great holiday gifts- maybe for valentines day?

My new favorite cooking show is Extra Virgin with Debi Mazar and her hot Italian husband. Are you watching it? If not, why not? It is such a good show, and Debi definately has that vintage flair. Her hair and nails are always impeccable. Even better is the food, with the above being my favorite recipe to date. I have made this the day before and had it either warm or at room temp and it is still pretty good.

For a while I thought those fudge brownies were the best dessert ever. And then I made this cranberry chess pie and it blew those brownies out of the water! I have no words to describe the amazing taste explosion in your mouth. As you bite down you taste creamy, tangy, sweet, and crunchy all at the same time. Do not stop. Do not pass Go until you make this pie. Tonight. I am not kidding.

I made this at Rosh Hashana and it was excellent. We don't eat nuts on this holiday, so I omitted them and the cake was still awesome. It would also be a great breakfast cake.

I made this two weeks in a row because I loved it so much. If you like tahini, you will love this salad. The first time I made it I added some leftover quinoa and it rocked the house. I made it the second time without and I think I will keep the quinoa from now on. It was the perfect addition.

This salad is easy, tasty, and beautiful to look at. Need I say more? Oh ok. The three different leaves make this a gorgeous salad to look at, and the lime gives it a kick. The peanuts are great to give it that savory sensation. My only addition was a little bit of sugar because I thought the lime was too tart. I will definitely be making this again.

So those are my last 7 great recipes. Are any of you kittens going to try any of them? If you have any suggestions of something you think I might like, or a recipe you have been wanting to try but haven't had the time, just post the link in the comments and I will try it in the next few weeks and let you know how it went.

  3. I really like how there's a dish for every season at work in this scrumptious roundup. If I had to go on appearance alone, I think that during these dull grey days of winter, I'm drawn most to the hues of the last two salads.

    Wishing you a gorgeous Thursday,
    ♥ Jessica

  4. @Jessica: Yes, the colors are so beautiful on those salads. But the cranberry chess pie turns bright pink! So it too is a lovely color.

@Paperdoll: I have made it twice and it really is wonderful.
