How To Be A Glamorous Housewife: Part 1- Make-up

I have been getting some emails with questions like, 'how are you able to get dressed, put on make-up, and do your hair while having 3 kids?'. I thought I would answer that question with a 3 part video series. The first one (posted below) shows you how I do my 'every-day' make-up. It is quick and easy and very basic. It shows you how I can get ready so quickly. I hope you enjoy it.

  1. Oh my word! I love your video. You know, I do my everyday make-up very similar to you. It so easy for me and keeps me looking good, I think. Anyhow, I love your earrings...I have a pair just like them too. Great minds think a like, don't you think?

    1. Thanks for the kind words. Those videos are fun to make but I feel so exposed! Especially with no make-up on :)And yes, great minds DO think a like.

  2. You are adorable. When I do my make up I feel wonderful and girly all day... those few minutes are so worth it (and I am a Mom to 4 so can very much relate to your scenario). Thanks for sharing such a fun video... look forward to your other ones.

  3. Great video! I can relate with 2 kids and full-time job. I can't leave the house without my eyebrows on. LOL I always get up about an hour before the kids to be ready. :)

    1. Lol! If I have time I pencil my eyebrows, but I wanted the video to be about the least amount of make-up I wear.

  6. Glad to see someone else using the covergirl all day lippy - I feel a bit of a cheat when I see other vintage makeup videos! After 25 years of long lashes, I find mine are starting to thin, so I may start curling them - thanks for the how too, it's always seemed so tricky.

    1. Ha! No way is it cheating. I say use modern techniques to create a vintage style! Plus, like I said in the video- I don't want to get lipstick all over my baby when I kiss her.
