I have been getting some emails with questions like, 'how are you able to get dressed, put on make-up, and do your hair while having 3 kids?'. I thought I would answer that question with a 3 part video series. The first one (posted below) shows you how I do my 'every-day' make-up. It is quick and easy and very basic. It shows you how I can get ready so quickly. I hope you enjoy it.

Oh my word! I love your video. You know, I do my everyday make-up very similar to you. It so easy for me and keeps me looking good, I think. Anyhow, I love your earrings...I have a pair just like them too. Great minds think a like, don't you think?

Thanks for the kind words. Those videos are fun to make but I feel so exposed! Especially with no make-up on :)And yes, great minds DO think a like.
DeleteYou are adorable. When I do my make up I feel wonderful and girly all day... those few minutes are so worth it (and I am a Mom to 4 so can very much relate to your scenario). Thanks for sharing such a fun video... look forward to your other ones.
ReplyDeleteWow! Four kids! And I thought I had a handful with three! Good for you for spending a few minutes to feel great- you deserve it.
DeleteGreat video! I can relate with 2 kids and full-time job. I can't leave the house without my eyebrows on. LOL I always get up about an hour before the kids to be ready. :)
ReplyDeleteLol! If I have time I pencil my eyebrows, but I wanted the video to be about the least amount of make-up I wear.
DeleteVery nice video. (love the effect with the mirror !)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the others ^^
Thanks! The hair video (which I will post next week) has a bunch of mirror tricks!
DeleteGod Bless you for appearing sans-makeup for the world to see! Great video!
ReplyDeleteI will do (almost) anything for my dolls! Glad you enjoyed it!
DeleteGlad to see someone else using the covergirl all day lippy - I feel a bit of a cheat when I see other vintage makeup videos! After 25 years of long lashes, I find mine are starting to thin, so I may start curling them - thanks for the how too, it's always seemed so tricky.
ReplyDeleteHa! No way is it cheating. I say use modern techniques to create a vintage style! Plus, like I said in the video- I don't want to get lipstick all over my baby when I kiss her.
DeleteLoooove it, you are too cute with your Cali accent :) Great advice! Definitely looking forward to video #2 and #3!!!
ReplyDeleteI have such a strong Cali accent! But I am a southern California girl through and through.
DeleteI don't sound too different than you I'm sure, I'm from Phoenix. Everyone thinks we sound like Cali girls.
